Contact Dani

Jen joined Run Like A Girl Australia in 2018 as an absolute beginner shortly after the club first launched and found herself fascinated with the performance of running and Dani's passion for teaching technique. After completing the "Couch to 5km" eight week program and gaining a new vision of her own capabilities, Jen went on to run her first half-marathon in the same year, and eighteen months after learning to run she crossed the finish line of her first full marathon.

Jen has been inspired by running to become an accredited Recreational Run Leader with Athletics Australia; has commenced a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Clinical Practice) at Victoria University, and also the Certificate III in Group Fitness for class instruction.

Jen runs for her mental health as much as her physical health, and genuinely loves encouraging and guiding the Run Like A Girl squad to enjoy running together, as well as for the self-improvement outcomes and personal achievements.

Jen is also motivated to empower our runners with an accessible understanding of running physiology. She regularly writes curated blogs for the crew to deepen our runners' knowledge of our training methods, and nurture the sense of purpose in their training journey.

Jen's vision is for all women to see themselves as belonging in sport and capable of movement, and is as excited to assist our runners in cracking psychological goals as physical ones!
